Hi, we're in Dallas.....

Arlington cries for attention...
The 2011 Super Bowl will be at the new 100,000-seat arena in Arlington. The Cowboys won the honor today after having Roger Staubach campaign for them. Dallas is by far one of my favorite cities, so I like the move. I also like 100,000 Super Bowl tickets being available. Oh, and here's my vote for Carrie Underwood at half-time.

Leonard Davis rocks at H-O-R-S-E...
The newly signed Cowboy (no pun intended) pulled a stuck horse out of the mud last week, earning himself a framed letter from PETA.

David Kircus draws the race card...
Every African American writer in America today is wondering why Kircus isn't drawing the same attention as Justin Miller, Chris Henry or Tank Johnson. And I'll tell you why right now. Kircus has been in trouble now one time. He is also the only white NFL player to be named in an arrest or legal problem in the past few weeks. I'm not throwing down the race card here, but this isn't about black and white. It's about being arrested, and all four idiots above have been.

Portis removes foot from mouth, ass from head...
He's now issued a very well spoken statement saying he didn't really mean dog fighting was ok. I'd like to see someone put Portis alone in a room and ask him to recite any part of that statement. I'll bet $5,000 he can't do it.

Bulger a free man...
Marc Bulger's contract with the Rams expires after the '07 season and the team has done little to resign him thus far. Could they like Ryan Fitzpatrick that much, or are they already looking at 2008 draft possibilities?
